Her death was reported in the Glen Innes Examiner and General Advertiser on 1 November 1907 as (in part):

Last Thursday Mrs. Rodgers, who had been on a visit to Sydney, returned home, and a few hours later her daughter became ill to such an extent that medical aid was summoned. On the following day no improvement was noticed, and the medical attendant (Dr. Wrigley) decided to perform an operation for appendicitis, which, unfortunately, was accompanied by an attack of peritonitis.

Her grave is well maintained & her father, who died in 1915, is also buried on the same plot.
