The head of the pigeon can be seen in the profile from the right, her big, round eye seems to be looking at the viewer. Her head is tilted and her beak almost touches her voluminous, long neck. The wings are folded against the body, on the chest are circles hinting at feathers. Her claws are on the handle above the letters F and R. In front of the lettering there is a wheel which represents the coat of arms of Osnabrück.
