This cast bronze bust of Gregory Blaxland is in the Blaxland Plaza. It is mounted on a 'white' sandstone pedestal, with several bronze plaques, and was commissioned for Australia's Bicentenary of 1988. It was dedicated at the Blue Mountains Crossing Bicentenary, on Sunday, 12 May, 2013. The main plaque has the following inscription:

BLAXLAND
Gregory Blaxland
1778 - 1853

A member of the
Blue Mountains Crossing Party.
Gregory Blaxland crossed
the Blue Mountains in May 1813
with William Lawson
and William Wentworth
under the direction of
NSW Governor Lachlan Macquarie.
