FR Maurel de Pontevès, fit construire sa demeure par Jean Lombard et Pierre Pavillon dès 1647.
L'architecture est d'ordonnance classique : de style dorique au premier étage, ionique au second, corinthien au troisième. Les Hercules de Jacques Fossé, qui supportent le balcon, inaugurent ce thème à Aix et la porte en noyer impressionne par ses heurtoirs à tête de lion.
EN Maurel de Pontevès had his house built by Jean Lombard and Pierre Pavillon in 1647.
The architecture is classical: Doric style on the first floor, ionic second, Corinthian third. The Hercules of Jacques Fossé, who support the balcony, inaugurate this theme in Aix and the walnut door impresses with its knockers with lion's head.
