The IJsselspoorbrug at Deventer spans the IJssel river and is part of the Apeldoorn - Deventer railway line.
On the south side of the railway bridge there is a bicycle path of three meters wide and on the north side of the railway bridge is a footpath of two meters wide. West of the IJssel, the bridge continues for about 300 meters over the flood plains,which can be flooded under high water.
