This culvert is located on Coffee Creek Road about one-half mile west of Luther Road, and two miles north of the town of Luther. Oklahoma has thousands of creeks, many of them small and unnamed, but during the Spring rains, they can wreak havoc with travel on these rural roads. The many culverts which the WPA built were a god-send.

This culvert is located alongside a mailbox, and a gravel driveway. The concrete tunnel is approximately 2 ft high and 3 ft. wide. The WPA shield stamped into the curbing reads 1936.

The web site shown below tells the story of New Deal road projects in Oklahoma.
