Hours:

Monday - Friday: 7 AM to 2 PM
Saturday - Sunday: 8 AM to 3 PM

Note that during winter break (nearby University of North Texas), they close at noon on weekdays.

Cultivar is a Dallas-based roaster who, of course, specialize in roasting their own beans -- they have a web store where one can make purchases -- and this is one of three simple coffee bars that they operate. There's nothing foo-foo or fancy, it's just good coffee. Their phone number here is 940-380-9319.

This second Hypnotic location opened in 2014 after many requests and visits from the Denton area to the main location in Dallas. In addition to their gourmet donuts -- the Evil Elvis is probably best known -- they make a mean chicken biscuit, and only at the Denton location can you get sides -- including poutine! -- with your biscuits. To get the best stuff, arrive early! Their phone number here is 940-488-9851.

As they share space (but not registers), you can have a seat and enjoy your coffee and donuts (or biscuits) while taking advantage of their free, secure wi-fi (password upon request). Do note that you'll want to have lots of battery life, as there aren't many places to plug in your gadgets.
