We were in St. Mary's, Montana planning to visit Glacier National Park the next morning. Unable to find lodging we started heading north looking for a place to stay as we went. We eventually had to cross the Canada border (43 km) toward Cardston, Alberta (24 km).
While waiting in line to go through customs, we saw this plaque and decided to hop out of the car and take a few pictures all the while the loud speaker blaring, "Return in your vehicle".
Happy ending, we got the photographs we wanted and returned the next day to visit Glacier.
