Die Großplastik "Figur X" wurde 1984 von Bruno Gironcoli geschaffen und neun Jahre später an das Bundesland Kärnten verkauft. Nach mehreren gescheiterten Versuchen, einen guten Platz für sie zu finden, wurde sie 2013 an ihrem jetzigen Standort aufgestellt. Das Gebäude, vor dem die Skulptur jetzt aufgestellt wurde, ist das Hauptgebäude der Landesregierung.

The large sculpture "Figure X" was created in 1984 by Bruno Gironcoli and sold nine years later to the state of Carinthia. After several failed attempts to find a good place for it, it was set up in 2013 at the current location. The building in front of which the sculpture was now erected is the main building of the state government.
