In the park west (behind) the MWC Visitor Info Center there is a small plaza, made in 1976 to commemorate the US Bi-Centennial. Not much to see, just a large, covered tower (only one story high, but no rooms. What else do I call it?) It has lettering on the west side declaring it "Tinker Bicentennial Plaza". The plaque states it was built June 25, 1976 and has the seal of the American Revolution Bicentennial commission.
