This pair of Millstones is located at the historic Backus Mill in Port Rowan, Ontario. One is on display upright featuring a plaque with the text:
"Heritage Canada
1976 Regional Award of Honour
for
Heritage Preservation
presented to
The Long Point Region Conservation Authority"

The second millstone is laying flat.

This millstones were likely used in the Backus Mill which was a gristmill built in 1798 by John Backhouse. The mill was designated a national historic site in 1998.
