La construction en 1935 de la poste centrale, par
Pierre Boille, sur le boulevard Berenger, se situe
à la fin de la période de l'utilisation de l'Art
Déco par les architectes.
L'imposant bâtiment ne comporte aucun des
ornements floraux issus de l'Art Nouveau.
De décorations, il ne reste que la corniche et de
petits cubes en saillies sur la façade.
