FR Dans ce parc célèbre pour avoir été un lieu d'inspiration de Cezanne, on peut voir 2 griffons à l'entrée d'une allée, face à la maison.
Le griffon ou grype est une créature légendaire présente dans plusieurs cultures anciennes. Il est imaginé et représenté avec le corps d'un aigle (tête, ailes et serres) greffé sur l'arrière d'un lion (abdomen, pattes et queue), et muni d'oreilles de cheval. Avec quelques fois des variantes le griffon gardera de tout temps la particularité reconnaissable d'être hiéracocéphale.

Griffin or Grype is a legendary creature found in many ancient cultures. It is imagined and represented with the body of an eagle (head, wings and greenhouses) grafted on the back of a lion (abdomen, legs and tail), and equipped with horse ears. With some variations, the griffin will always have the recognizable peculiarity of being hieracocéphale.
