The roasting Cafés Nadal was founded in Nîmes in 1919 by Auguste Nadal in place of the current shop rue Saint Castor.
Passed to one of his sons in the late 1920s, he sold his business nearly 40 years later in 1971 to 2 of his sons-in-law Jean-Marie Pellecuer and Gérard Fabre.
In 2003, Auguste Nadal's great grandson, Jean-Pascal Fabre, took over the business and joined forces with Mathieu Maubon in 2007 to take on new challenges.
