On the the third on the upper level of the side of the church is a hole in the window that resembles a human. It was a result of the great Halifax Harbor explosion of December 6, 1917. The human profile is said to resemble the Rev. Jean-Baptiste Moreau who once was an assistant at St. Paul's Anglican Church from 1750 to 1753.

The profile can best be seen from inside the church. As you enter the center aisle of the church look up and to your right. The window has been preserved by enclosing it by a pair of panes of glass.
