In Milton, within Milton Cemetery, is a place reserved for veterans graves, which has a memorial plaque embedded in a rock by the road.

The cemetery is located off Centre Street. The side (west) entrance, open at the time of visit, is 100 ft east of the intersection of Centre St and Randolph Avenue.

From the side entrance, the old burial ground is to the left. Travel on Willow Avenue (there is a map after you drive in) to an intersection with Shamrock Avenue. Take a left and follow it generally straight to Soldiers Avenue and continue generally east to the graves on the left.

The plot is a roughly semi-circular area bounded by bushes. A flag pole and monument is the focus near the edge of the road. The monument is a rough stone with a plaque that has the following words:

"The memorial is dedicated to the memory of those men and women from the town of Milton who served their country in the armed served. They lie here in mute testimony to the manner in which they lived, worked and fought to achieve the victories in order that America may live free."

There are round designs of each of the branches of the military.
