In Canton, at the corner of Washington and Sherman Streets, is this flag pole with a plaque honoring veterans from Canton.

The pole is located right at the northeast corner of the intersection, above the retaining wall that is about five feet high.

The flag pole stands in a circle of landscaping chips and two bushes of different size. The plaque is at the foot. It states:

"Dedicated to
all veterans of
Canton
by the People
of Canton
November 11, 1986"
