THE STATION IS LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF MOUNT MORRIS 2.7 KM (1.7 MI)
NORTHEAST OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT MORRIS, LIVINGSTON COUNTY.

TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF NEW YORK STATE HIGHWAYS 408 AND 36, GO WEST ON 408 FOR 2.6 KM (1.6 MI) AND TAKE A RIGHT ONTO DAM SITE ROAD. GO NORTH ON DAM SITE ROAD FOR 1.8 KM (1.1 MI) AND TAKE A RIGHT ONTO VISITOR CENTER ROAD. FOLLOW VISITOR CENTER ROAD FOR 0.5 KM (0.3 MI) AND PARK THE CAR IN THE PARKING LOT. GO 0.1 KM (0.1 MI) EAST AND YOU WILL FIND THE MONUMENT. IT IS IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE MOUNT MORRIS DAM VISITORS CENTER PROPERTY.

THE STATION IS A BRONZE DISK 3.75 M (12.3 FT) SOUTHWEST OF THE EDGE OF PAVEMENT FOR A WALKING PATH, 6.70 M (22.0 FT) SOUTHWEST OF A FENCE POST FOR A 2 M (6.6 FT) CHAIN LINK FENCE RUNNING SOUTHWEST, 8.93 M (29.3 FT) NORTH-NORTHWEST OF A 0.5 M (1.6 FT) MAPLE TREE, AND 3.25 M (10.7 FT) EAST OF THE CENTER OF A CATCH BASIN. THE MARK IS 3 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND.
