The Helmichsteine in Rulle are the remains of a Neolithic megalithic grave. The age of this grave is estimated at 4000 to 5500 years. Originally, the grave consisted of two rows of stones running in an east-west direction which together with the overlying capstones formed the burial chamber. The original dimensions were about 15m x 1.80m. The plant is mainly destroyed, so that today it is only 12m long. (Further information can be found at www.stonepages.de)
Name name derives from a former land owner to whom this lands belonged. The surroundings have been formed into an informative park and information signs have been added.
