L'église de Sainte-Famille présente un intérêt patrimonial pour sa valeur architecturale. Cette église, constitue un témoin exceptionnel de l'architecture religieuse du Régime français
L'église présente aussi un intérêt patrimonial pour la valeur artistique de son décor intérieur. Le décor intérieur constitue un assemblage peu commun d'ouvrages sculptés issus de l'esthétique des deux principaux ateliers de sculpture québécois du XIXe siècle.
L'église présente aussi un intérêt patrimonial pour sa valeur historique liée à son implantation. Au Québec, les églises forment le cœur du noyau villageois, et celle de Sainte-Famille constitue le principal élément d'un ensemble religieux particulièrement riche.
Elle est entourée d'une place, d'un ancien cimetière ceinturé d'un mur en pierre et comprenant un charnier, d'un presbytère et d'une dépendance.

The church of Sainte-Famille is a place of worship of Catholic tradition built from 1743 to 1747.
The Sainte-Famille church is of heritage interest for its architectural value. This church is an exceptional witness to the religious architecture of the French Regime.
The church also has a heritage interest for the artistic value of its interior decoration. The interior decoration constitutes an unusual assemblage of carved works resulting from the aesthetics of the two main workshops of Quebecois sculpture of the nineteenth century.
The church is also of heritage interest for its historical value linked to its location. In Quebec, churches form the heart of the village core, and Sainte-Famille is the main element of a particularly rich religious complex.
It is surrounded by a square, an ancient cemetery surrounded by a stone wall and including a charnel, a presbytery and an outbuilding.
