"Historic pub close to the town hall at the top of famous Gold Hill, with grand views from the patio overlooking the beautiful Blackmore Vale. Popular with younger drinkers on Friday and Saturday evenings but catering for all with an extensive food menu. The pub often hosts charity quizzes as well as regular live music nights. Open daily for lunch and dinner and afternoon tea, the menu is mixture of British classics and traditional meals."
