I've driven past this tree several times & noted on a previous occasion someone had added a Christmas decoration. I made a point of slowing down & parking near it this time. The road is narrow & very windy so best to approach on the descent.
The tree is a young eucalypt & in good condition. There are a variety of shoes including Australia's national footwear - the rubber thong. Someone added a sandal near a pair of thongs - scandalous! Some shoes hang by their laces, others are stuck on branches, a few had fallen so I put them back up. Can't have litter.
