This armory doubles as a recruiting station. It's used to house the 28th Signal Battalion's headquarters. Their vehicles fill a large parking lot behind a barbed wire fence. This is one of the oldest continuously serving signal units in the U.S. military.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's located at 835 Fifth Ave., Coraopolis.
