1986 B.R. Carlick
1800-20 chamber organ installed here from RC Church, Pershore. see D07673,
given to the church by the Diocese and received by the
priest, the late Revd. Terence McDonnell in December 1986; the instrument
had been moved without removing the pipes and had been tilted to try to get
it into the church, subsequently falling on its side. "I successfully set it
up on 17/12/1986. By September 1987 Fr. McDonnell had been killed in a road
accident. At a subsequent visit I found that organ had been moved and badly
affected by high humidity and was unplayable." (BRC)
