The look-out tower is located on the 417.5-metre-high Steinthalskopf south of Walporzheim. It is a wooden and roofed tower with a height of about 10.80 metres.

The tower has three floors and a metal stair leads to a view platform at approx. 7.5-m height abve the ground.

The tower offes a nice view to the north-east to Bad Neuenahr/Ahrweiler and the Siebengebirge on the horizon.
