The Calvary is reached by a small staircase, and is surrounded by a gate, it is in front of an old chapel in ruins.
Situated at the Catelet (small hamlet of Bourthes) on the departmental road 156, the Sainte Marthe chapel had the proportions of a small church before falling completely into ruin.
It was built in 1864 by the Duflos-Destre family, Jean-Baptiste Duflos having been mayor of Bourthes and justice of the peace of the canton.

Le calvaire est accessible par un petit escalier, et est entouré par une grille, il se trouve devant une ancienne chapelle en ruine.
Située au Catelet, (petit hameau de Bourthes) sur la route départementale 156, la chapelle Sainte Marthe avait les proportions d'une petite église avant de tomber complètement en ruine.
Elle avait été bâtie en 1864 par la famille Duflos-Destrées, Jean-Baptiste Duflos ayant été maire de Bourthes et juge de paix du canton.
