The Condon Shell is located in a 6 acre park along Mystic River Parkway in Medford, MA. Condon Shell serves as a performance venue for local groups in the Boston Metropolitan Area. The park area in still ongoing and The first phase of the plan was constructed in 2011.
A special feature of the Condon Shell is the elaborate music themed mural designed by Yetti Frankel and painted by the Tufts University class of 2005. On the sides there is a tribute to Lydia Maria Child a Medford resident who wrote the traditional Thanksgiving poem "Over the River and Through The Woods".
