The Baptist Chapel was built in Butt Lane in 1886.
It is a small building located in between terraced houses on Church Street, Butt Lane.
The bench is situated outside to the right of the entrance porch.
The bench has metal legs and arm rests with a patterned metal back rest surrounded by a wooden frame with a wooden slatted seat.
The plaque is inscribed as follows:-
