Freilichtbühne in der Rheinaue - Bonn, Germany - Outdoor Amphitheaters on Waymarking.com

Im nördlichen Teil des Freizeitparks Rheinaue, gegenüber vom Japanischen Garten liegt eine Freilichtbühne. Es handelt sich dabei um ein klassisches Amphitheater: Die Bühne liegt in einer Senke und ist im Halbkreis von einem Hügel umgeben, an dessen Hang aus Steinen bis zu neun Sitzreihen geschaffen worden sind. Im Innenraum ist ein ovale Fläche gepflastert worden, die als Bühne dient.

Angelegt wurde die Freilichtbühne zusammen mit dem gesamten Freizeitpark zur Bundesgartenschau 1979. Damals wurde sie auch regelmäßig für Aufführungen genutzt. Heute wird sie kaum noch genutzt und findet wenig Beachtung.

In the northern part of the park Freizeitpark Rheinaue, opposite the Japanese Garden, there is an open air stage located. It is a classical amphitheater: The stage is located in a valley and is surrounded by a hill in the semicircle, on the slope of which up to nine seat rows have been created with stones. Inside, an oval surface has been paved which serves as a stage.

The stage was created together with the entire leisure park for the annual German garden-presentation-show "Bundesgartenschau" in 1979. At that time, it was regularly used for performances. Today, it is hardly used any more and is not paid much attention.
