Kulin hosts a bush race meeting on the first weekend in Octoberand is located near the middle of the "Tin Horse Hwy", a 60km stretch of road that has over 100 humourous sculptures of horses on the roadsides. Kulin itself has a population of approx 360 and is located in the central wheatbelt of W.A. There are other similar signs on the eastern and southern roads into town
