The main entrance to the compound of the Saint Sava Serbian Church is through an arched entrance in the garden wall. Across the arch is the name of the church in English and Cyrillic characters. The arch is fitted with a rusted metal gate. The work of local artist Joe Tyler, the gate design is a tree with two plants at its base. The center trunk of the tree is the center point of the gate with its latching mechanism. The tree leaves are set at angles to give a three dimensional effect. The two plants are also multi-dimensional. The top of the gate consists of two arched metal bars that flow from the bars on either side of the gate.
