In 1868, Christuskirche (Church of Christ) in Werdohl on Freiheitstraße was inaugurated. It is a neo-Gothic hall church, five-bay, with galleries, two-storey, half-retracted west tower with eight-sided helmet, 6/10 choir closure with polygonal "side choirs", windows with highly Gothic tracery, gothic wooden doors, specially designed tower west portal and buttresses.
