Inside the zoo and botanical garden 'Wilhelma' in Stuttgart, Germany, baden-Württemberg exist several different greenhouses. This is the so-called 'Amazonienhaus' which houses a subtropical rainforest from the Amazon area.

Inside the zoo and botanical garden 'Wilhelma' in Stuttgart, Germany, baden-Württemberg exist several different greenhouses. This is the so-called 'Amazonienhaus' which houses a subtropical rainforest from the Amazon area.

It includes the plants but also different animals from the Amazon area.

The greenhaus was opened in 2000. It houses about 350 different types of plants.

The building costs were 18 million Deutsche Marks.
