The 450m long, four lane Stirling Bridge, located upstream of the existing timber road bridge and steel and concrete railway bridge, was completed in 1974 and is the most recent construction to span the lower reaches of the Swan River. The bridge forms a freight link between the port and the industrial areas of the City
