Located in Hilo, HI, on the Big Island, the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo is the only natural tropical rainforest zoo in the United States.
Admission is free, although donations are accepted.
The zoo is open 9 am - 4 pm daily but closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
There is a petting zoo for the kids every Saturday from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm.
Namaste, the White Bengal Tiger gets fed at 3:30 daily.
