For the preservation of this locality, collection is prohibited. The Weeks Bay Pitcher Plant Bog is home to at least three species of carnivorous plants; white-top pitcher plants, yellow-winged pitcher plants, and sundews. The Kurt G. Wintermeyer Trail is about a mile of boardwalk that provides access to the bog. Parking is available across the road.
