If you're willing to spend the money, the Museum of Pop Culture contains a myriad of collections from guitars and other musical instruments to Science Fiction items. An entire room titled Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds has been devoted to Trekkie fans. Movie props, costumes and other miscellaneous items from the original Star Trek TV show to later Star Trek movies exist here. Visitors can view and sometimes interact with items. This is definitely one of the largest collections of Star Trek memorabilia in the world.

There is one other place in the museum that contains a Star Trek item: the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame Room. In it is a tunic worn by actor Leonard Nimoy as Spock on Star Trek from 1966-1969.

Keep in mind that you'll pay extra per person cost to view this room ($5.00/person when I visited) in addition to the museum entrance fee. This museum is owned by Paul Allen of Microsoft fame. Like he needs the money.

**NOTE** I asked museum staff if all collections in the museum are permanent. They replied they were and although a few collections/items may leave the museum as part of a temporary moving exhibit, they'll ultimately return to the museum to stay.

Which Series or Movie?: All TV series and many movies (it's a lot)

Is there an admission charge?: Yes
