We have long wanted to stop here, but always managed to come by when the shop was closed. We lucked out finding it open today, but had limited time to spend. We were also distracted by the huge garage sale going on next door at the Windles' home, especially since there were some deeply discounted rock shop items for sale there.
The shop is open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Saturday. It's closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Allow yourself plenty of time to look around!
Although we did not see meteorites for sale, we would not be surprised to find them on the shelves somewhere.
