EN: "Per pale Gules and Argent, a vine branch fesswise fructed of two counterchanged." (Flags of the World)

The flag of Maisprach was created in 1944. The vine grapes symbolize the viticulture, which has always been important for the community. As early as the Roman period, there were vineyards in Maisprach; in the modern era it has been documented since 1328. The colors and the geometrical structure were obviously taken over from the the flag of the district capital Sissach.

I found the flag on a residential house between the thoroughfare and the village center.
