This former windmill is situated on high ground two miles south-east of the village of Letham in Angus.

Built in the early part of the 19th century, it was part of a threshing mill and is the only remaining part of the mill that still exists. The scars on the lower part of the tower show that it was once joined on to another building.

The tall tapering rubble tower is 60 feet high and 18 foot in diameter. There is a flagstone walkway nearly halfway up.

The tower stands near Dumbarrow Farm just off the minor road that runs from Letham to Arbroath.
