Bathpool Park is a public park situated in a rural area to the south of Kidsgrove. It is owned and managed by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and was a Green Flag Award Winner in 2014-2015.

There are several circular routes for walking/ cycling, most of the walkways are now tarmac and almost all flat. However, there are more walks in the park/ woods that are a little more challenging.
At the Boathorse Road side of the park there are exercise machines along the tarmac path and a fenced childrens play area.
The pool has an abundance of wild life and there are fishing facilities that also includes fishing for wheel chair users- although you have to be a member of the "Kidsgrove Anglers" club.

This newly appointed country park is set in 178 acres , it provides woodland walks and bridle paths around a main lake and several ponds.
The mature trees support a variety of wildlife with various way marked paths through the area . For the more adventurous and energetic types there is also a cycle route, mountain bike track and exercise points scattered throughout the park. Source: (visit link)

"The Friends of Bathpool Park are a group of volunteers who act as custodians for one of Kidsgrove’s much-beloved parks. The volunteers consist of local residents from every walk of life and whom all share a vested interest in bringing Bathpool Park back to the people of Kidsgrove and its surrounding district. The park has been transformed and you can - visit the beach, take part in gentle excercise by using the health equipment that is placed throughout the park [this equipment was kindly funded by the NHS trust], you can take part in fishing, rugby, horse riding, skiing, mountain biking, basketball, netball and not forgetting the new children’s play area.
