This Haag Washing Machine model 60-E is circa 1930, it was known as the Vortex. The Haag Brothers was first established in 1924 introducing the cooper washing machines tubs and later replacing them with a galvanized steel tub like the one featured here.

The Haag washing machine seems well used and it is complete with two wringer rollers and the older style two draining trays. The tub is smooth where the later models were ridged and often a color selection was available typically either blue or green. In the later models there was one larger draining tray.

Attached to the wringers is a parts price list for this model 60-E. There is a serial No. 641521 on the name plate attached to the front.
