[FR] Il a été érigé à la demande de Napoléon et pris le nom de l'architecte qui dessina les plans : Alexandre Théodore Brongniart (1808-1825). La célèbre Corbeille autour de laquelle les agents de change traitaient les plus grosses valeurs de la cote, a d'ailleurs été démontée le 14 juillet...1987.
[EN] It was built upon the orders of Napoleon and is named after the architect that designed it: Alexandre Théodore Brongniart. The famous trading floor, around which stockbrokers dealt with the largest values quoted on the stock exchange, was removed on 14 July 1987.
