Chickilim

From Azay-le-Rideau to Monts, the peloton took the road of the Lys Valley dear to Balzac but also to the sculptor Alexander Calder who had settled in Saché four years earlier. A hundred meters from here (from where this multi), a geocache is besides placed in front of the house that occupied and where it worked until the construction in 1963 of a workshop less humid, more spacious And brighter, on the heights of the valley.

Died in 1952, he did not see the racers of the 44th Tour de France pass, but one of his disciples, Gino Stagetti, carved a plaque in memory of this July 19, 1957.
