An unusual time capsule with many of its contents visible through a plexiglass window.
The accompanying plaque reads:
"This time capsule was dedicated on July 9, 1993, in honor of Lincoln
Park Zoo's 125th birthday. The contents include items which reflect
the unique heritage of Lincoln Park Zoo. It will be opened in 80
years, which marks the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Park
Zoological Society Women's Board.
With special thanks to WINSTON & STRAWN whose support made
this project possible."
