[FR] L’artiste Annick Leroy a été sollicité pour créer des œuvres en relation avec les lieux.
En effet, le maire de Honfleur, souhaitait, dans une ville ayant inspiré tant d’artistes, mettre l’art au cœur de cet espace afin de lui donner une âme supplémentaire.
Annick Leroy a donc réalisé une fresque en mosaïque rappelant le travail de la corporation des tanneurs et des teinturiers.
Elle a également conçu deux sculptures fontaines :
- 4 oies crachant de l’eau
- un enfant au parapluie
- ainsi que cet escargot géant recouvert de mosaïque !
[EN] Artist Annick Leroy was solicited to create works related to the places.
Indeed, the mayor of Honfleur wanted, in a city that inspired so many artists, to put art at the heart of this space in order to give it an extra soul.
Annick Leroy thus produced a mosaic fresco recalling the work of the corporation of tanners and dyers.
She also designed two fountain sculptures:
- 4 geese spitting water
- a child with an umbrella
- as well as this giant snail covered with mosaic !!
