This indicator is situated on the verandah of the sports pavilion on the hill of the Angus town of Kirriemuir. They were gifted to the Town Council by the playwright J M Barrie who was born in the town. Barrie himself formally opened it on June 7th 1930, newsreel of this still exists. Access to the indicator is free, however for an admission charge the Camera Obscura inside the pavilion provides a better view.
