A long drive up hill on County Highway J brings you to the intersection with County Highway Y and just a little ways further is this amazing 1894 built church.

This amazing old church is found taking a long drive up hill either on County Highway J or County Highway Y in Monroe County. It has a Rockland, WI address but is nowhere near the small town of Rockland. It is actually closer to the village of Leon which is still several miles away. The church itself has a cemetery across the road. It has an old hand water pump on the side which has a sign that the water is unsafe to drink. The church is in pristine shape for its age. Service times are listed on a sign on the building and very from Sunday to Sunday. November's services were to be held on the 6th and 20th of November at 11:00 and 09:15 respectfully. The stain glass windows are in amazing shape and very vivid. The location is very high in elevation so expect your ears to pop.
