This is one trig that I was not aware of before heading out on a rogaining Expedition with some youth. To be sure that they knew how to navigate with map and compass I was the 'Tail-end Charlie'.
When I saw the description for Waypoint 400 was, Trig Point, I encouraged the three boys (1 x 13 yr, and 2 x 14 yr olds) to include it in their plans for deciding the route for the day.
With only some slight drizzle to annoy us, we ended up making good time, and got many of the higher scoring waypoints.
As the weather forecast for the June long weekend promised a fair bit of rain, I had left my usual camera in the car, but did have my mobile with me (turned off), with which I was able to get a couple of photos of this trig opportunity.
Access: Follow Bulmers Road to a dirt track on the eastern side @ S28º 52.923' E152º 49.382'; follow the track in a 'magnetic' easterly direction.
