The Heritage Association of Frisco notes on their website that these grain elevators, besides acting as a reminder of the city's agricultural roots, are all that is left of that industry in this area. Built in the late 1940s and early 1950s, possibly by Continental Grain, these silos stood among the local gins, flour mills, and other grain storage facilities.
